The authors of the work took into account both the body anatomy and the historical context.
The authors of the work took into account both the body anatomy and the historical context. The project is an equestrian figure made in the classical style, which is placed on a high pedestal. Gediminas appears as a calm, courageous ruler who sits confidently on a powerful horse, his hand imperiously holds a sword, which symbolizes the belligerent nature of the power of that historical period. This is the image of a gatherer and defender of his land.
In September 2019, when the city celebrated its 696th birthday, it was erected a monument to Gediminas behind the northern wall of the Castle on that project.
