Sculpture by Aleksandr Lyshchik “The Grand Duke Gediminas”
The project-design of the monument to the Grand Duke of Lithuania Gediminas, which is a work of a member of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Belarus, sculptor Aleksandr Ivanovich Lyshchik (1951-2011).
Aleksandr Ivanovich comes from the city of Kamenets (Brest region), who graduated from the Belarusian Theater and Art Institute, taught at the Sculpture Department of the Academy of Arts.
The principal activity was artistic casting of bronze by smelting models. He worked in monumental and easel sculpture.
