Padlocks have been known in the territory of Belarus since the X- XI centuries. The basis of the design of iron padlocks until the XVI century was a spring mechanism. When the key was inserted into the hole, the spring loosened and released the shackle.
The fork does not appear in the territory of Belarus until the XVI century. Initially, it was a two-pronged device with a handle. Two-pronged forks were an important accessory for dining and hunting kits. The most ancient cutlery is a knife. Our ancestors carried around so-called universal knives throughout the Middle Ages. They were used both during various tasks and during meals.
A snaffle (bit) consisting of a bridle and two metal rings is inserted into the area of the toothless edge of the jaw. The impact of the bridle on the tongue, jaw and lips of a horse makes it possible to control its head, neck and shoulders, slow down and stop movement.
