Over the years, excavations in Lida Castle it has been collected a large number of kitchen and dining dishware from the end of the XVI- first half of the XVII centuries: plates, bowls, shots, cups, mugs, small special vessels for seasonings, flasks.
Rina is an earthenware vessel for frying, on three legs with a hollow holder, where a wooden handle was inserted. In Lida Castle, archaeologists discovered one of the first unglazed rinas in Belarus, sculpted on a hand-made potter's wheel, dating back to the XV century. In the XVI- XVIII centuries, rinas were shaped on a foot-powered wheel, the inner surface was almost always covered with green or brown glaze. There must be a master's fingerprint on the rinas from Lida Castle.
